The "Floated" Quilt is built from a single pattern piece, an equilateral triangle, cut from width of fabric strips with a 60 degree Ruler.
Stack the triangles in vertical rows and sew the rows together, simple as that! No "Y" seams, no hand piecing, no multiple mirror image pieces, just chain-pieced straight seams.
Fabric Requirements: 3 solid, blender or tonal fabrics, a light, a medium and a dark plus a background fabric.
Light - 1/2 yard
Medium - 1/2 yard
Dark - 1/2 yard
Background - 1 3/4 yards
