Quaternity

Finished Size:  55" x 65"
The "Quaternity" Quilt is built from a single pattern piece, an equilateral triangle, cut from width of fabric strips with a 60 degree Ruler.
Stack the triangles in vertical rows and sew the rows together, simple as that!  No "Y" seams, no hand piecing, no multiple mirror image pieces, just chain-pieced straight seams.

Fabric Requirements:  9 solid, blender or tonal fabrics in a contrasting but complimentary colorways, 3 values of each colorway, , a light, a medium and a dark plus a background fabric.

Medium Green- 1/2 yard
Dark Green- 1/3 yard
Light Purple - 1/4 yard
Medium Purple - 1/3 yard
Dark Purple - 1/3 yard
Light Yellow - 1/2 yard
Medium Yellow - 3/4 yard

Background - 2 yards
Backing 5 1/2 yards
